Sony DSC-N1

Posted on March 21st, 2006 by Brandon Quintana in digital cameras

So a couple of weeks ago, I decided to buy the Sony Cybershot DSC-N1. It’s a feature rich camera with a 8.1 megapixel sensor, Carl Zeiss lens (as most Sony digital cameras use), video recording functionality, and 3.0″ inch screen. One of the best features, however, is that the screen is touch screen! Sony has eliminated many of the buttons on the back so that the screen can fit and be used as a touch panel at the same time. In addition to that, Sony has designed this camera to be more of a digital photo album on the road. They realized that most people show off their pictures from their digicams with other people, so why not make the camera more presentable? They included slideshow functionality, along with music and some basic paintbrush features - available all from the touch panel.

Sennheiser HD202

Posted on December 17th, 2005 by Brandon Quintana in headphones

I own a few iPods and a laptop and find myself traveling a lot around California. For everyday use, I normally use a pair of iPod earbuds, which I have to say aren’t that great, but I can get by with them or I use a pair of Sony MDR-EX71SL in white. The Sony earbuds sound much better than the iPod earbuds and can be picked up online for around $30. Those are my everyday headphones due to the fact that they’re small and easy to carry around so it makes it much more convenient. In any case, almost any set of over the ear headphones sound better than some of the best earbuds but for the price and the quality of the Sennheiser HD-202, it’s a definite recommendation.
