I had ordered the bag and it shipped very quickly. FedEx, however, lost the bag. They had delivered it to the wrong address and had no clue where it was. I contacted Booq and told them that I had ordered the bag for a trip I was going on. The bag was supposed to arrive two days before my trip. I received a response and they shipped another bag by priority overnight so it would arrive in time for my trip. I thought that the customer service was excellent. The person was very nice and took action in a timely manner. I think this is important to doing as much as possible to keep the customer happy and they did just that. This makes a huge difference in making future purchases.
When I received the bag I noticed that it was really light and compact, but it had plenty of space to hold everything that I travel with. When traveling buying a light bag will be much more convenient and you’ll be happy that you paid a little more money for something made with lighter materials. There are plenty of velcro and zipper pockets to keep things padded and safe.
In my opinion the bag is very well made and very comfortable on the shoulder even when the bag is filled with everything. All the Booq bags I carry don’t put too much strain on my back even when holding it for long periods of time.
The magnetic front pouch is very convenient for holding things like airport tickets and it seals the front pouch for pens, cell phone, and a few CDs. The second interior zip compartment holds all the cables I need. It also holds the extra battery, adapters, Game Boy and digital camera. The compartment holds everything and is very well padded to protect it. There are two side zipper pouches that I use to hold my iPods. The pouch is lined with felt to protect the screens of the electronics. There is also a separate compartment to hold the MacBook itself. There is plenty of padding to protect the laptop and the pocket is lined with felt for added protection. The last of the zipper compartments are designed to stack the laptop back on the handle of another piece of luggage. This makes it very easy to travel with and much more convenient.
I have to say the Booq laptop bags are the best bags I have ever owned. Some people tend to tell me that they are a bit pricey, but I think they are worth the extra money for the protection, convenience and comfort I find in any of the bags I have owned by Booq. I would recommend the bag to any Mac users out there and they have specific bags made for each model. They can also work with PC laptops as well but as it says on the site measure the laptop to insure a good fit.
